MEWP 3A (SCISSOR LIFT), 3B (CHERRY PICKER)
MEWPs, or mobile elevated working platforms, are powered access machines, used in a huge range of construction and warehousing sectors. MEWPs are available in two basic types: boom (cherry pickers) and vertical (scissor lifts). Boom lifts have two types of operation, static or mobile.
NOVICE COURSE
Is aimed at People with no previous experience, the course will last 5 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
EXPERIENCED COURSE
Is aimed at People who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate of basic training or are unable to provide proof that they held one. the course will last 3 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
SAFETY REFRESHER
For Operators trained on different types of equipment who wish undertake a 3 year safety refresher. the course will last 7.5hrs. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
