Manual Handling
Safely avoiding Injuries
It’s estimated that 21% of all non-fatal workplace injuries are attributable to manual handling injuries and that a third of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are also caused through manual handling activities.
As a Forklift Training provider our manual handling training courses are designed to help minimise the accident’s in the work place, reduce the risk of injury to your employees and increase productivity through absence avoidance.
Manual handling courses are designed to have up to 10 people attending, and the duration is 4 hours
Novice Course
Is aimed at People with no previous experience, the course will last 5 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3)
Experienced Course
Is aimed at People who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate of basic training or are unable to provide proof that they held one. the course will last 3 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
Safety Refresher
For Operators trained on different types of equipment who wish undertake a 3 year safety refresher. the course will last 7.5hrs. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
