Overhead Crane Operator Training
We deliver ITSSAR-accredited operator training for the following types of Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes (EOTC), ensuring operators are trained to work safely, efficiently, and in line with current legislation.
Pendant Control – where the crane is operated using a pendant control attached to the crane and controlled by the operator from ground level.
Remote Control – similar to pendant operation, but using a wireless remote that allows the operator greater freedom to position themselves in the safest and most effective working location.
Novice Course
Is aimed at People with no previous experience, the course will last 5 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3)
Experienced Course
Is aimed at People who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate of basic training or are unable to provide proof that they held one. the course will last 3 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
Safety Refresher
For Operators trained on different types of equipment who wish undertake a 3 year safety refresher. the course will last 7.5hrs. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
