When used to their full potential, reach trucks can significantly reduce the cost per pallet stored by allowing narrower aisle widths and improved use of warehouse space. Our reach truck training service includes D1, D2 and D3 machine types.
To achieve these benefits safely and efficiently, operators must be properly trained in safe manoeuvring, load handling at height, and stability awareness in confined spaces. Effective training improves productivity, reduces damage and accidents, and ensures reach trucks are used to maximise storage capacity and operational efficiency.
Novice Course
Is aimed at People with no previous experience, the course will last 5 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3)
Experienced Course
Is aimed at People who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate of basic training or are unable to provide proof that they held one. the course will last 3 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
Safety Refresher
For Operators trained on different types of equipment who wish undertake a 3 year safety refresher. the course will last 7.5hrs. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
